It is necessary to give a new life to a house. To get rid of the wallpaper, tearing up by your favorite cat, to stop stumble by a sticking out parquet , to write off to a dump «a soft corner», wiped till it is a gauze condition.
When the decision is made, the customer only needs to understand what the design project is created of. As practice shows, there are several ways to work with clients. In the first case, the customer is capable not only to imagine what he exactly wants, but also to explain it intelligible. To what style he is more predisposed, to which extent the interior will be “compact”, what quantity of money he is ready to invest in his house, whether he is able to endure the repair without a special damage for mentality, there are the sensible answers on all these questions.
In the case, when the client doesn’t have any understanding of the budget, we develop the project together, then we completely count it, (except the cost of building works). Only afterwards the customer makes a decision, where and how he will distribute his money, how it is possible to save money, and for what he is ready to spend them, without feeling sorry for means.
In a situation when the customer does not have complexities with spatial imagination, and he categorically declares that the development of 3-D pictures is the superfluous waste of time and money, we can manage only working drawings.
Though, the interior created in 3d-programs, visually shows what the result will be. The pictures can be executed already with the directly chosen furniture and materials. Then the customer can see, and even to “live through “ by himself nearby, as not only people get used to the things, but things are “ arranged” for us , too. If the pictures are created with the use of virtual furniture and materials, and approved, it is possible to be up to your ears in an absorbing shopping, making virtuality real.
In my work very often I face a question, «what materials are better to use?» . There is no definite answer, it is the same as to try recommending a person, what perfume is better to use. The choice of materials is individual. Certainly, there are fashionable, seasonal materials: textile wallpaper with a silk thread, wallpaper with the pearl dusting, metalized wallpaper. In my opinion, the most important thing is to find out, what materials it would be comfortable for the customer to live with. As a professional, I can speak for a long time about the most fashionable directions, I can methodically show the most popular lamps and so on … But , for example, if graffiti , which have become very popular nowadays, causes the unpleasant associations, whether is it reasonable to use it in an interior? Of course, no.
As an author, I prefer to mix styles, to achieve the dynamics. I encourage the reasonable leaving of every typical thing, because even in a man’s interior it is possible to use «Svarovsky» and the interior will not lose it’s brutality and chic. For me, interior is like a good footwear, you look at it and see that there are no superfluous details there, but, in the same time, you realize that it is very expensive…
